Your 100% tax-deductible donation to the Louisville Audubon Society helps us further our mission: to conserve and restore natural ecosystems—focusing on birds as well as other wildlife and their habitats—for the benefit of humanity and the Earth's biological diversity. 

Just a few of the ways your donation helps: 
  • Supports our ability to issue grants each year to local nonprofits aligned with our conservation mission—such as our 2025 grant to Raptor Rehabilitation of Kentucky Inc. to help renovate a flight enclosure that houses injured Bald Eagles, Hawks, Vultures, and Ospreys
  • Helps us inspire more children and adults to appreciate birds—such as through the purchase of binoculars we loan for free to attendees of our zero-cost community "bird walks" 
  • Allows us to engage and educate our community about conservation, birds, and birding—including at events and through free informational materials about programs such as Lights Out Louisville, which aims to reduce the staggering number of migrating birds killed or injured in window/building collisions
